All in all, birthday success. Here are a few pictures to recap my weekend:
Birthday, Birthday!
Wednesday, November 6
This past weekend was my 18th birthday, and what a blast it was. Tony carefully planned out our adventures (all in secret) and surprised me on Friday by telling me to pack my bags! We headed to San Antonio and camped. Dia de los Muertos is actually the same day as my birthday, so we were able to have some fun in some Day of the Dead festivals. Saturday morning we headed to the Natural Bridge Caverns for a lantern tour. It actually worked out pretty well because Tony and I ended up being the only ones on the tour! We walked 180 ft. under the Texas hills into the depths of some beautiful caves. Not to mention we had no lights, except our lanterns. It was incredible. We did some shopping in some great Mexican markets, and we toured Mission San Jose.
