About Taylor

There’s a man who once told me, he was trapped in a tunnel. He and many others were stuck in this dark place, filled with brokenness. People were hungry and sick, trapped by a penetrating darkness that ran its course to their souls. But this man, he saw this light, this tiny crack of light filtering through the darkness. At first it was but a small beam, barely enough for his own eyes to grasp. But as he gravitated towards this light, it became stronger and brighter. It opened his eyes. Because of this light, he was able to see beauty, to see joy, and healing. He was able to see those still trapped in the darkness, and dedicated his life to moving them towards that same light that opened his eyes. Although he knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel with beauty awaiting him, he preserved amidst darkness and horror all to save those around him, that someday they would face the light and start walking.

Ever since the first hour I saw the light, my heart has never been the same. My eyes were opened to my Creator, my maker. That light revealed the truth of beauty, of grace, healing, redemption, and love. I discovered a taste of living bread and water that my soul ached for. Despite my brokenness and mistakes, I was loved by a heavenly father who bathed me in a love so deep; it could not even fill the deepest ocean. Now my life is aimed to be nothing more than a servant; a servant of the Gospel. I desire to be used by God, ‘kingdom-minded’ as some may call it. I want my life to reflect the Savior and nothing less.

There is no I other reason I write but to reflect the Creator. As a daughter of the King, I create in His name. I write words that reflect His nature, His beauty, His world, and His people. I am captivated by words, the gentle flow of sounds and sonnets that create humble tales and stories that change peoples’ hearts. I want to tell stories, write words of hope, deliver joy, and repeat the everlasting goodness of the Gospel. I am nothing more than a messenger passing on the King’s message.

"Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered- how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath. We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in You." (Psalms 39:4-13)
