Closing Chapter

Today was an awesome day. Tony and I were finally able to get away, after a long and anticipated week full of crazy events: the start of school, the birth of my little brother, and our anniversary all in a few days of each other was exhausting. Although I loved every moment of it all, I'm glad this major week of 2013 is finally coming to a close.

Today we took a little trip to Galveston to hang out at Moody Gardens, Moody Mansion, and take our (first + last) summer dip in the ocean. We spent the whole time laughing and loving each other. Not to mention the part when we ate a giant turkey leg and looked like savages.

I am thankful for exciting weeks, life changing blessings, and the calm after it all. God is good + that's all there is to it.
